Description
The AeraMax air purifier technology has been specially developed by Fellowes to effectively purify your indoor air and protect your family from harmful allergens and pollutants. It's easy with AeraMax—just switch it on and leave it to automatically clean your air 24 hours a day!
Fellowes utilizes a 4-stage purification system: 1. Carbon Filters, which reduce odors, chemical vapors and capture large airborne particles; 2. True HEPA Filters, which captures 99.97% of airborne particles and impurities as small as 0.03 microns, including mold spores, germs, viruses, pollen, dust mites, most airborne particles and allergies; 3. AeraSafe Antimicrobial Treatment, which features built-in protection from the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mildew and fungi on the True HEPA Filter; and 4. PlasmaTRUE Technology, which safely reduces airborne particles at the molecular level, instantly neutralizing germs and viruses in the air.

Highest Level of Air Protection

Air Quality Indicators
How do you know when the air in the room needs cleaning? AeraMax Air Purifiers show you different levels of air dirtiness. Watch the screen as lights change from blue to amber to red, indicating the air quality conditions. This special feature helps you identify if certain factors are causing the indoor air quality to change. For example, an open window during the spring may be letting in large quantities of pollen. Your AeraMax will tell you.
Allergy Protection
If you purchase an air purifier to fight allergies, then AeraMax is designed for you. The DX55 and D95 models of AeraMax feature an Aera+ Mode which enhances the air cleaning performance for peak allergy season and cold and flu season.
Filter Change Alerts
AeraMax Air Purifiers tell you when it’s time to change your filter. Look to your dashboard to tell you when you have a dirty filter. For optimal performance, replace the True HEPA Filter when the HEPA Filter indicator has changed to red or approximately every 12 months under normal usage conditions.
Ultra-Quiet Operation
These AeraMax Air Purifiers have a four-speed fan with an ultra-quiet operation that is ideal for 24 hours use.
Installation
Set-up and Operation
Place the unit at least 1½ feet from the wall. Keep the unit away from drafty areas and curtains, as they may interfere with the air intake and outlet. Place the unit on a stable surface with plenty of air circulation.
- Remove protective film from the control panel.
- Pull out drawer.
- Remove bag from filters. Place filters back in unit.
- Insert Carbon Filter first and then True HEPA Filter.
- Fully insert drawer into unit until click is heard.
- Plug in the power cord to a wall outlet.
- Turn unit on. Unit will beep.
For approximately the first 4 minutes after turning the unit on, the indicators will flash while the unit measures air quality.
