A SmartSensor is included with the ecobee SmartThermostat with voice control but you can add additional sensors to any ecobee thermostat to manage pesky hot or cold spots and provide your family with whole home comfort. 

Smart Recovery

Based on local weather information, your occupancy habits and ongoing analysis of your HVAC system’s heating and cooling patterns, your ecobee sets to the right temperature at the right time. Over time your ecobee improves its efficiency as it learns your home. 

Thermal Protect

With Thermal Protect enabled, your ecobee thermostat will ignore a sensor when its readings greatly diverge from others. This can happen when a sensor is placed in a room that tends to get hotter or cooler (e.g. attic or basement) than the rest of the home.
